Medical College in Nepal
Studying MBBS in Nepal is an excellent opportunity for the Indian students. Nepal happens to be a friendly and peaceful nation, having good relations with India and have no language problem because most of peoples in Nepal can understand Hindi and English. Also food habits and weather conditions are similar to India.
The medical colleges in Nepal have the medical infrastructure and the syllabus followed is identical to that of Medical Council of India. Many medical colleges in Nepal are promoted by Govt. of India as well as Indian owners
There are only two universities- Institute of Medicine (IOM) under the Tribhuvan University (TU) and the Kathmandu University (KU) providing affiliation to medical schools here in Nepal. The BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) and the Patan Academy of Health Science (PAHS) are two autonomous academies conducting MBBS courses.
Currently, Nepal has 21 medical schools and annual intake capacity of around 2,000 MBBS students.
